The martial Arts

Gyokushin Ryu Aikido:

Terumi Washizu sensei named his art Gyokushin Ryu Aikido after an ancient art Minoru Mochizuki had studied. The essence of Gyokushin Ryu Aikido is a direct result of teachings developed by Master Mochizuki based on a synthesis of many Japanese Budo (Nihon Sogo Budo) such as Aikido, Jujutsu, Judo, Karate, and Kenjutsu. Washizu sensei, like his predecessors, bases his teaching on principles of mutual aid and prosperity, as well as the best use of energy.

Jujutsu:

We practice Jujutsu as a Martial Art (Budo) and not as a sport. It is mainly based on the art developed by Minoru Mochizuki blended with other influences as well. It includes throws, ground work, striking, and weapons. Applications of common principles and efficiency of techniques are utilized.
